Anatoly Viktorovich Skalny (born May 12, 1962, Ivano-Frankivsk, USSR) is a Soviet and Russian scientist, doctor of medical sciences (2000), professor (2004), founder of the bioelementology scientific school. Editor-in-chief of the journal "Microelements in Medicine". Vice-President of the Institute of Trace Elements of UNESCO, founder of the ANO "Center for Biotic Medicine". Since 2001, he has been chairman of the Russian Society of Medical Elementology.

Author of more than 500 scientific publications, a scientist with a Hirsch citation index of 37.
