SIMON MATSKEPLISHVILI

Professor, Ph.D., Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Director for scientific work of the Medical Scientific and Educational Center of Moscow State University

In 1994 he graduated from the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy (Sechenov University).

In the years 1997-1998. successfully completed an internship at the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the National Council for Scientific Research of Italy, Pisa, Italy.

In 2001 he received a diploma of a European cardiologist.

Since 2005 he is the Head of the section of echocardiography of the All-Russian Scientific Society of Cardiology (VNOK).

Member of the European Society of Cardiology, Member of the European Association of Echocardiography, Member of the American Echocardiography Society, Member of the American Heart Association, Member of the Nomination Committee of the European Association of Echocardiography as President of the Association, Member of the Committee on Scientific Theses of the European Society of Cardiology, Member of the Organizing Committee for Educational Programs of the European Society of Cardiology

Author and co-author of more than 540 scientific works in the field of cardiology in leading Russian and international publications.
