In 2002 he graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Biophysics. In 2005 he defended his thesis (biological sciences, specialty "biophysics") at the Research Center for Hematology.

In 2010 he defended his doctoral dissertation (physical and mathematical sciences, specialty "biophysics") at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Pushchino. He worked as a research fellow (2005-2006), a senior fellow (2006-2015) at the Research Center for Hematology.

Since 2008, he has been the Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Hemostasis, Center for Theoretical Problems of Physico-Chemical Pharmacology, Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, since 2017 - Deputy Director for Science, and since January 2018, he worked as an Acting Director of the Center for Theoretical Problems of Physico-Chemical Pharmacology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Since 2011 - Professor, Department of Medical Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Research interests include cell physiology and biophysics, system biology, blood pathophysiology, hemostasis and immunity, evolutionary physiology of the blood system, computer models in biology, reception and intracellular signaling, fundamental principles of pharmacology and development of diagnostic methods in hematology.
