Dear friends,

In 2019, Sechenov University is going to hold the 3rd Sechenov International Biomedical Summit (SIBS 2019). Before inviting you to join us for this wonderful meeting, I would like to discuss two key features that make SIBS stand out.

Firstly, it is the venue that makes a difference. SIBS is traditionally held at Sechenov Biomedical Science & Technology Park, which has been expanding dramatically over the last few years to become a flagship of biomedicine in Russia.

The Biomedical Park is managed by an international team of high-class researchers who are determined to create a researcher-friendly environment, in which scientists from all over the world could focus on their work and receive unconditional support along the way. Attracting talent and investment stand among the top priorities of the Biomedical Park, and my colleagues I welcome all prospective collaborators to pay us a visit and establish long-term ties.

The second (and, in my opinion, the most important) advantage of SIBS is the people who make it happen. These include our speakers, all of whom are world’s leading experts in their fields, organisers and support staff, who ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish, and all of our participants, without whom the atmosphere of the conference would never be as welcoming, friendly and intellectually stimulating.

Therefore, it is my great honour to invite you all to visit SIBS 2019 to discuss the issues of bioengineering & regenerative medicine as well as translational & personalized medicine and enjoy yourselves at the University.
