ДЖАКОМО МУСИЛЕ

Giacomo Musile is a Research Fellow at the Unit of Forensic Medicine of the University of Verona (Verona, Italy).
In 2007, he received a BSc degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry curriculum) from the University of Messina (Messina, Italy). His academic formation continued at the University of Torino (Torino, Italy). In 2010, he received the MSc degree in Chemistry (Forensic Analytical Chemistry curriculum) discussing an MSc thesis focused on the development of an SPME-GC-MS method for the determination of the homemade explosive TATP. In 2012, he enrolled in the Ph.D. course in Forensic Medicine and Science at the Unit of Forensic Medicine of the University of Verona. He obtained his Ph.D. in April 2015, discussing a thesis entitled 'Determination of new psychoactive substances in complex matrices by using methods based on micro-analytical systems'. Since 2012 his research work aims at developing innovative analytical methods based on HPLC-MS, CE-UV, HPLC-FL, and paper-based microfluidics so far applied in forensic toxicology and thanatochemistry studies.
